Ahhh it all makes sense once one realises that Crime is BIG BUSINESS. Without crime and the fear of crime then why would we need all these high security locks, Lock smiths, alarm systems, CCTV, security companies etc..................... etc.
Crime is a Multi billion doller business so naturally one does not want to eliminate it even if one could ......................................................... nope one must nuture it to keep the $ and £ rolling in hence the revolving door prison/court system. Victims of crime feed other associated industries like medi-care and lawyers not to mention the media circus.
Nope not paranoid just a realist.
