The TC Encore is probably the most popular gun these days. I ordered my frame last month, should see it around March. I ordered the barrel from BB, might see that in May. Not only is it a popular frame, but they also appear to have alot of warranty work as well (sloppy hinges, see the posts).

Frames can be had very easily by searching Gunbroker.com or auctionarms.com.  Do a search on "encore" and take your pick.

pa ridge-runner :D

Do what I did!  Back in July of last year I wanted a blue & a Stainless Engraved Encore frame.  Had my dealer place an order with FoxRidge and I waited and waited and waited some more.  I wold call my dealer and ask if he had any news.  He was told by FoxRidge that they had problems with their supplier and etc etc.  I called FoxRidge and was told the same thing.  In October I got tired of the wait as I had 4 barrels and no frames.  I called EABCO and they had frames in stock so I put a hold on a Blue & Stainless for my dealer.  Called my dealer and told him to contact EABCO and make arrangements.  While not the engraved frames I wanted I am happy with them just the same and may in the future send them to VVCG to be engraved.  EABCO did not charge an inflated price and the transaction was done very quickly.  Give them a call.

I ordered an encore frame 1st week of January. Dealer told me he had invoices and shipping ticket but no gun yet. There must be some sort of delay somewhere because my dealer is usually very prompt with gun orders.

If you have the means, try buying a Encore gun; I.E; an Encore 209x50 or another cal.  I purchased a Encore 209x50 complete rifle as I already has the 10" 7mm08 bbl and stocks already. Just my two cents. Rod
