535 Tac. Turkey
« on: June 15, 2011, 05:31:23 AM »
I was looking at buying a new turkey gun. I came across the Mossberg 535 Tactical Turkey but I'm a Lefty. I was wondering if you can switch the shell holder to the other side??

Ethan,
When these and the 835 tactical came out they had a thumbhole type stock that wasn't made to be ambidextrious. At that time I called Mossberg and was told that they were not gonna make a lefty friendly stock for them. I've since lost interest in them and haven't been back to look at any of the newer ones.
Best thing to do(short of handling one and trying to move it) is to contact Mossberg and ask them this question.

Hopefully they ain't forgetting that some of us shoot from the proper side!

HAHAHA! okay, let the ripping begin.

If you're a lefty you want a BPS.  If you've got a higher budget you can also get the Benelli autos in true lefty.  If you've got a lower budget you can get an 870 and switch the safety.

Can I get a BPS with a short barrel?
