FYI:  After being back ordred and not cataloged for some time the 18.5" 20ga barrel for the 500C is again available direct from Mossberg for $72.00 plus $8.95 shipping.  Part no. 90035 (Customer Service 1-800-363-3555).  I  purchased one recently and it makes the 500C into a very handy 6 lb 38.5" house and barn gun.
