Making my first AR

I just purchased my first stripped lower and plan on making an AR 15.  I plan on making a 5.56 with a 16 inch barrel.  I was curious who you guys buy from and what parts you recommend.  With this being my first gun, I want to go pretty basic and would like to keep the cost down.  If this is something I decide that I enjoy I will build the pricier gun later on.  So I am looking for affordable yet quality parts. The only difference I have found is in trigger quality.  All of the other parts are the same.  I would consider a trigger from Rock River and the rest of the parts from any of the many low-cost parts suppiers.  Call them about a discount price for a parts kit without their standard trigger.  Most will comply.

I'll trow in a second for M&A Parts.  Their kits ship with a fully assembled, head spaced and test fired upper.  It is a pretty easy way to get into assembling an AR and every other part you need except the stripped lower receiver.

One rifle I built is a 20" match stainless barreled rifle for NRA service rifle competition using their match kit.  It came with the standard GI style two stage trigger so I substituted Armalite two stage match trigger.  It has a 1/4 MOA rear sight with a hooded aperture like the National Match M14 and a narrow match front sight blade

It shoots 1/2 MOA or less with well made 69 and 77 grain sierra MatchKing reloads.
