Went to the gunshow today. Gunshows are generally a disappointment, compared to 25 years ago - retail prices, not as much fun. Saw a plain-jane 336W for over four hundred bucks; just nuts. But considering expectations, this one was alright. Took the girls - they don't have near the endurance to see everything - and met a couple friends from the old church. Best of all... picked up a Mosin-Nagant M91/30 and 440 rounds of 7.62x54 - 79 bucks for the rifle, another 79 for the ammo. Soon as I get the cosmoline cleaned off, I'll be ready to take on the fascist hordes!

Good buy, I've been meaning to buy one.  I have one that I bought back from Nam.  Never fired it.  It's been sitting in my safe all "rigged" up. 
Every time I see one at a gun show, they want a buck fifty.  Maybe I'll get lucky like you.  Looking forward to a post about how it shoots.

Very little, and poorly. But you know how you learn some phrases, and can sometime use them to sound passable? That one fit with the rifle & era... :)
