dang Scout, that thing still givin' ya fits??  What have you tried?  My RS likes dome shape RWS and Beeman "Crow Magnum" hollow points.

Have you cleaned the barrel and put some moly grease on the spring?

I read somewhere to never try to bench rest a springer.  Part of that hold sensative thing.  Try holding the rifle with your arms resting on the bench, see if that changes anything.

Reviewing what you've already tried, and suggestions from myself and others, I hate to admit defeat, but every once in a while you just get a bad product.  If you're still of a mind to sell it, it may be time to throw in the towell

Tried shooting Crosman devastator pellets in the bearclaw. Well, it really shot pretty good. 3 shots in about a dime size group. Well by golly, that aint to bad of a thing! The draw back, it was at about 10 yards ::) It is what it is man.  Thanks! scout4<><

I would put the quality, fit and finish of the QB78D that I purchased
from Archer Airguns up against anything else I have recently inspected.
It will put pellets almost through the same hole at 25 yards all day long.
And as for the other "Stuff", I have no problem with Chinese folks.
Most I have known are good , hard working people.
Their Govt. sucks but I must say that our current Govt Sucks
with equal enthusiasm.
