It's bitter sweet for me.
On one hand, I don't mind the open ground for the canine trapping. The maple sap will be running early and sweet, so I'll expect a good batch of glow by next fall, Might get some open water walleye fishing in before season ends, and Ducks will remain up north where it's safe (Until next season)
On the other hand, this will not help the lake levels in Michigan, and there's no deep snow to push those bank running mink into the water, and I also don't think the morel mushrooms take to well to this crap.
I guess I'd rather have winter back......after about 50 gallons of sap to get the season rolling.
