YA KNOW, i sent in for prolly 20 barrels at different times and this last one jus PMFO !!!
i have never had a barrel come back not attached to the receiver !!! >:(
the receiver beat tha livin hell out of the barrel. ya know this was for my grandson
birthday, and mosta yall know what i think of  J3 !!! thats my heart and soul made over !!!
$140+ for this what looks lika abused, beat-up, neglected barrel.
whats that word i'm look'n for.......BEATER !!! thats it >:(
 
bryan, i know you had nothin to do with this, but please pass tha word on to your shipping dept, so others don't get what i got.
 
i just don't know what to think !!!,. no, i'm not sending it back.... ain't got time.
i'll jus keep tha SOB, and buy him a #1 ss ruger barrel in 7/08 and give him my tropical
#1............thats how pissed i am   !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i ain't play'n either >:(

Sorry to hear they trashed J3's B-day present, but a teenager with a #1, well you can't beat that deal.  Real curious to see what you do to your new "beater" since I don't think you have any ugly guns.  Octogon barrel maybe?

John, Im so sorry to hear this........what a bummer!
That is why I will not send my stuff away.
I imagine you need to be irked for a while, maybe even have a swig or two of skweezins', but if it was me, Id be callin' them and tell em to credit the full amount back to my card or send me a check, they could have pictures of the damage if they wanted; then they should go down to shipping and.........

Yeah, Patty's .357 came back with two pieces banging around in the box.  I heard it when I started opening it and thought "Oh S--t!!"  by some miracle neither barrel nor frame was damaged.  We were lucky.  They must have had gentle UPS people working that day.  That was about two weeks ago, and the clown in shipping is still doing it.....hard to believe he or she hasn't been taught to their job properly.

Man, that is CRAZY! I am mad for you!  :(

I would be livid. I would want my money refunded and a new receiver and barrel.

I would be going nuts right now if I were you. I was about to drop a receiver in the mail tomorrow for two barrels and now I am having second thoughts.  >:(

Sorry to read this my friend! Total lack of QC and I agree with Spank, happening FAR too often! Its now becoming NORMAL!!

I have long ago swore off sending anything back to factory. I havent been burned just annoyed at delays. I have complete guns, no "extra" barrels for me.

Sorry to hear about that Gendoc.  I know it doesn't help much, but for everyone to know, I just recieved mine back today and it was together and in better shape than when I sent it.  Surely someone got a good chewing after your call.

I would send it back again, and again, and again until you are satisfied.
 
There won't be any rush on your part right now, but I'd make them make it right!  Don't let them off the hook!
 
Oh and let them know again with a nice little letter attached about how po'd you really are!

Or it could be the same idiot that packed my shipment a few years ago Tim.


Sent in a 22 Mag with bbl to have 22 LR and 17 HMR bbls fitted.  This was to be a gift for my grandson.  Shipped it in a hard case and had the extra locking tabs secured with tie wraps.  Enclosed extra tie wraps and a note in the case, all in a plastic bag, to secure the case for the return trip.


Came back with the new bbls tie wrapped to the rifle.  Scarred up the stock and blueing in several places.  Called them and they said I could send it back but they would not pay for the shipping and said they would decide if it was their fault or not.  There was plenty of room in the case to have simply placed them in a reasonable manner and closed the lid.  Someone went out of their way to mess this up.  Also the case was held closed only by the clasps, no tie wraps for additional security even though there were still extras in the case.


Like others I've elected to not use the company fitting service again.  Any additional rifles have been, and will continue to be, purchased as single barrel units.  Mostly I've elected to go with the Contender for single shot stuff and it's mostly due to the fact I can't depend on service from this company.

naw BB, when j2 came over that even'n... he hada plan ;D
he took tha receiver and barrel to our shop and stripped and buffed for parkerizing !!!
so far i know its done, but i hadta go chase a bullet or 2 this late week :P
i kinda wish them guys wud understand bout retardment !! but ya know its kinda my fault cus i luv it and tha $$$ are worf-it 8)  i'll be snort'n soon ;)
