getting some 60 grain sp hornadys,need some loads   also 55sp,50sp  i have varget,imr 3031 powder

I like 25 grains of 748! Provides around 3000 fps good for minimizing pelt damage.

3031 is my favorite 223 / light bullet powder! Light bullets being anything less than 75 grains, to my thinking.

Somewhere's around 23 - 24 grains of it ought to put you in good company, of course after you work up loads in your rifles.....standard disclaimer here. As with all Internet load dope, it's worth what you paid for it!

I haven't owned a rifle yet that wouldn't shoot snarly little bugholes with that powder!

Does anyone use IMR 4198.  DO not see it mentioned much but I have some and am getting ready to start loading 223.
