what is your take on the cci blazer ammo say in the 3 magnums? I got a box of 45LC and didn't find it dirty to shoot (but it was not the last rounds I shot) and it shot nice groups not great but good enough to hunt with. I didn't clock any left it at home but they seam to shoot good in my Ruger 45 Blackhawk.
so what do you think. "shootable or not shootable that is the question"

Definitely shootable IMO. My experience is mostly with .357, .38, 9mm.

Shot 10k or so of the aluminum case stuff in 9mm when it was cheap. Good stuff in my opinion.

Blazer has always run good in my handguns. Loaded with Speer bullets too. I really like the 200 grain 10mm TMJ in my Glock 29.

Years ago before I started to reload, I shot tons of the aluminum cased Blazer ammo in my .357s. Altho a little anemic for hunting deer(altho I did kill the only one I ever shot with it) it always shot well enough at the range that I felt no reason to opt for the higher priced stuff. I still recomend it to those looking for cheap factory plinkin' ammo.

I have shot alot of it over the years, like Savage says...when it was cheaper it was a real bargain to pickup several boxes at the gun shows in 9 MM. I have heard it was bad stuff somewhere before, but it shot just fine in .38 special and 9 MM.
