Thanks Dinny

Hi All,

I have a 45 ACP/45 Super Shorty Handi that was built by a friend of my.  SB2 frame, full length rifle barrel blank inserted into a 20 ga host barrel.  I have been working up a load for my friend to use this fall when he goes to Wyoming to hunt antelope.  All my load work is based on 45 Super pressures and therefore not suitable for 45 ACP and are intentionally loaded with a long OAL so they don't in up in a (my) 1911.  I have been working with 250 grain jacketed and HS-7 & H110, and the results haven't been that spectacular.  I received a package from Dinny a few weeks ago and it contained a bunch of .452 cast bullets from Penn Bullets.  They are named Hammerheads and weight about 270 grains.  Long story short I can get 1/2 to 1 inch 3 shot groups @ 50 yards and the load is capable of less than 2" groups @ 100 yards.  With an MZ of about 1250 FPS, I think this bullet makes an excellant short range deer/antelope round.  Now it is up to my friend to get within 100 yards of antelope.

Thanks again Dinny.
