T/C Pro Hunter M/L forends?
« on: August 08, 2011, 01:20:33 PM »
Anyone know if a new in the box forend from T/C for a pro hunter muzzleloader comes with the mounting screws? I have ordered one online for a new custom barrel being built for me. The barrel builder does not supply the screws. I called T/C but they are closed for a week or two.

HM
I bought a new forend for the std. rifle bbl last week. It had the screws with it. Not certain, but I would imagine that they will be in there.

i replaced mine with allen heads from the local hardware store. If they don't come with them give it a look.

the ones I used were 1/4-28 socket cap screws, had to use small washer to keep them from pulling through the stock. Might have to be shortened I don't know. Me personally I wish all guns came with torx head screws but then they wouldn't get to sell us new screws all the time.
