Remington 760 in 223

Anyone own or use one of the rem. 760s in 223 that used the AR15 mags? Not sure but I think it was called the "Patrol" model.  ;)  I always thought it would be a useful rifle.

                  I believe you are thinking of the 7615 , which is a 7600 not a 760 ! They are for sale on GunBroker now and then ! I always thought they would be a useful truck/ranch rifle !

   I believe that these have now been discontinued by Remington.  Check their website and I don't think you will find it listed any longer.
 
   They didn't sell well at all, and apparently the long magazine well interfered somewhat with pumping the gun.
 
   Also, only the mags sold by Remington worked well.  Other mags were hit and miss.

Thats all usfull info...  ;)  I looked at them in a gunshop in New Hamphsire a few years ago. Wanted other things more so just never picked one up.
