Had a Good Day (pics added)
« on: September 16, 2011, 03:22:01 PM »
I hit some pawn shops in P'cola today.  In one I found a 1981 vintage Marlin 39A for $260.00 and a 1950 vintage Model 94 Winchester for $249.95.  They knocked a little off because I bought both.  The 94 has a pretty nice patina but not much bluing left.  The wood is nice and it feeds and functions fine.  I also saw a really nice 336 in .30-30 for $289.00.  I may go back and try to talk them down some.

94s usually go pretty cheap up here but if its a pre 64 you did real well. A 39a at that price anywhere anytime is a steal!

It is a take-down.  The knife was made by Jeff White and was given to me by a friend.  You can buy them on eBay for a very reasonable price.  I believe this is an English Trade Knife.
