The subject line is a bit misleading. The judge didn't block it she delayed it for a month to give her time to read all the briefs and render a decision. Yeah a woman judge but she is likely a southerner at least. The state is still determined to see this thru.

GB. I'm glad they will keep the pressure on. The criminals and libs here are fighting a similar law to go after these illegals. They put em on the news every once in a while whining that pancho and pedro might have to leave or be arrested and deported.
Off topic, but theres a man here, American, who is being taken to court because he lied about living in another county so his son could go to school there. They will educate the criminals but sue an American for lying about his residency?? YEP, they are doing it. POWDERMAN.

As GB stated she did not block the law just temporarily held it up until she could read into it further. The backlash from the law not going into effect as the date stated will give illegals another year of free education. As the law is worded it mandates that schools check the legal status of new students. Since the law was not in effect when it was time to register new students then the new enrollees from this year will be 'grandfathered' in and not have their status checked unless they change schools. :-(
