Sights

Can anyone recommend a set of replacement sights for my .50?  I don't like the OEM sights, it seems like no matter how much I tighten them I can still move the rear side to side with my fingers. Also, I have to have the rear positioned pretty far to the right. I think there might be a misalignment issue or somethng.

Are these the Williams (aluminum alloy) Fire-Sights, or the old plastic ones? I replaced my plastic ones years ago with the Williams, never had a problem with them staying put, even climbing around in the Rockies of Colorado.

There are other brands. True Glo makes a Muzzle Brite TG958 set that will fit it, I have a set of those too, but are no better than the Williams Fire-Sights IMO.

I would contact Customer Service and let them know, they should replace the sight if it is defective.

You may want to check with Skinner Sights, they may have a heavy duty set to fit.

Yeah, they're plastic and they suck. I decided to give H&R a call tomorrow and see if they'll send me a replacement. I really don't want to send the barrel back to them, but I will if I have to.
