Cyclists Targeted in "Knock Out Game"

Interesting  news  broadcast about how groups of "Youths" and "teens" are randomly attacking (white) cyclists  in  St. Louis, surrounding them and hitting them....this is the so called "Knock out game" where by the goal is to knock a (white) person unconscious with one blow. 

The attackers were only identifed as "youths" and "teens", but never by race.   

Hmmmmm.......... Does anyone have any ideas on how to solve this riddle of what might be the race of gangs of "youths" and "teens" who are randomly attacking white people?

Not much guessing is needed . This type of thing is happening more often and spreading to many smaller cities. The sad thing about this is the law can't do much about it in most cases without a positive ID.   Probably the best way to stop these kinds of attacks is to put a couple rounds of lead in the punks gut. This may not be the proper way to handle it but it sure would send a clear measage to the gangs.

I have some ideas, even if the scoundrels are attacking (non-white) people:
 
1. have a cop ride his bike by affected area, and let him get attacked - police response will be much swifter, than if a non-LEO is attacked
2. the cop can shoot the attackers if he finds hisself in extremis. If one of us does it in similar circumstance, we'll likely be jacked up on charges and the DA will not be our friend (he's usually friends with the cops)
3. arrest the miscreants not shot
4. air a few PSAs that people are allowed to shoot when attacked. For the eager amongst us, perhaps include the helpful information that they're not allowed to shoot at gatherings of negros/negresses who are not attacking them, even if they think they deserve it.

how's that for a plan?

Sounds like a plan alright but it could never be implemented.  You see there isn't any revenue to be acquired by either the police or government officials.  Much better (and safer) to bilk the working, tax paying citizenry.  Besides, no cop is going to be willing to stick his neck out to protect a non officer.

It is likely that anyone reading this board may be faced with the decision of having to fire a weapon to deter an attack or maybe even kill the attacker if the person won't stop.
 
 Too bad that this country hasn't a plan, as has been mentioned, trying to stop the threat before this country ends up in a nightmare we wish we had never seen.
 
Problem is there may be a plan or the lack of, either one, that will be the end of this country as we know it. It is now on us and the so called leaders are doing nothing, On either side. Why arn't the conservatives screming?

It will not stop until the consequences for their actions become grave enough, and time in a jail with 3 squares a day, tv, and other living comforts will not produce bad enough consequences. People doing things like this is just another sign of a crumbling society.
Maybe government can come up with another program comparable to midnight basketball, that only costs a few million. Since the midnight basketball program worked so well maybe we could try that again. I'm sure our utopia creating socialists will come up with something.
