Single Six Sights?
« on: December 29, 2003, 11:07:36 AM »
Curious to know what others have done w/ the sights on their Bisley Single Sixes. I am thinking about getting the gun lined up good and then having the edges of the rear drift sight machined off to fit the side of the frame. Not sure why, but it bugs me when I'm looking down the sights to see that extra material hanging over the edge. Anybody done anything otherwise on these fine little guns?

I would think it would be more of a distraction to have the sight notch not centered in the rear blade than to have the sight base not centered to the gun frame.

I never look at the sight base to frame position when target shooting or hunting. I only look at the rear sight blade notch to front sight post picture. Having the notch not centered in the rear blade would bother me more than the off center base to frame condition. - J.Solo
