Highland Cematary Cannon

In Great Falls , Montana .


    Inscription
    Right Trunion
    Left Trunion
 
It Also said on one side  "In memory to the Boys that wore the Blue 1861-1865"
On the other side .....     " In memory to the Boys that wore the Grey 1861-1865"
 I read about this cannon while sitting in the DR. office waiting for the wife .
I asked if the wife would mind if we drove out to take some pictures .
 I will give the mag to DD so he can translate better what the story said . Sorry I'm a lousy typer   :'(

Originally on Bedloe Island NY Harbor , removed when the Stature of Liberty was erected , Perhaps you can read the inscription .
