Was wanting a 6.5 tcu but after talking Gary Reeder about the raptor (240,257,6.5) based on the 204 ruger, I ordered the 257 raptor in a 12" stainless barrel. They say they have used 85gr bullets at 2600 f/c out to 200 + yards on deer with great success. Does anybody have experience with this round or the 257 tcu and what bullets have worked for you. dies for this round are 100 bucks and barrel was 300.00 but it sounds like a pretty exciting round and they said it would only take two weeks to make it . what are your thoughts? thanks
