Parts for Rem 58 Sportsman

I have a 16 ga. Remington 58 Sportsman that has the two piece action bar assembly. The piece that engages the bolt is broken. I've checked with Gun Parts Inc. and Jack First's with no luck. I was wondering if the one piece assembly would fit if I can't find the correct part. I would appreaciate any help. Thanks.     greer

There are many parts from the Model 870 that fit the Model 58 to include barrels. Of course to use an 870 barrel you need to drill the holes or plug them to use a 58 barrel on an 870. I suggest you check to see if maybe the part you need is interchangeable. Those two guns are more alike than different other than being semiauto and pump.

Thanks for the advice graybeard. I took my 870 apart and checked. There were a few differences in the part that I need. I guess I'll get on the phone to some of the suppliers that 45 Colt mentioned. Thanks for taking the time to type out that list.       greer
