primer fit

i was loading a few hundred 357s yesterday and the remington primers were not seating as hard as my cci and winchester once fired cases quit using the remington.whats up first time i have used remington.?

Not sure about the Win's, but CCI are a full .001 bigger than the Rem,s.
 That's enough to feel the differance when seating.

i was afraid they would blow back or leak so i won't use them anybody else had this problem.are all the remington the same size in small pistol? :o

Some primers require more pressure to seat in some cases. In close to 50yrs of loading, I don't recall ever scraping a handgun case because of stretched primer pockets. I manage to lose them or the case neck cracks long before that.
Enlarged primer pockets may be a problem in the super magnum handgun cartridges, but in my experience, not in the lesser calibers.

bought the remingtons when primers were hard to find a while back only got 200 so not a real loss.ill stick with winchester or cci.
