A Plan for Sept 11 Observance

The following was sent to me by a friend:
         Ladies & Gentlemen,             This is a grass roots project but it sounds like a great way to honor those who died 10 years ago and all those veterans who have given their all since that date as well.  Please share with your family and friends if you agree that it is a good idea.               
   The plan for September 11th observance   
We have less than two weeks to get the word out all across this great land and into every community in the United States of America .


If you forward this email to at least 11 people and each of those people do the same ... you get the idea.


THE PROGRAM:
On Sunday, September 11th, 2011, an American flag should be displayed outside every home, apartment, office, and store in the United States . Every individual should make it their duty to display an American flag on this tenth anniversary of one of our country's worst tragedies. We do this to honor those who lost their lives on 9/11, their families, friends and loved ones  who continue to endure the pain, and those who today are fighting at home  and abroad to preserve our cherished freedoms.


In the days, weeks and months following 9/11, our country was bathed in American flags as citizens mourned the incredible losses and stood shoulder-to-shoulder against terrorism. Sadly, those flags have all but disappeared. Our patriotism pulled us through some tough times and it shouldn't take another attack to galvanize us in solidarity. Our American flag is the fabric of our country and together we can prevail over terrorism of all kinds.




So, here's what we need you to do.


(1) Forward this email to everyone you know (at least 11 people). Please don't be the one to break this chain. Take a moment to think back to how you felt on 9/11 and let those sentiments guide you.


(2) Fly an American flag of any size on 9/11

Japan was forced into that war, from their perspective. Faced with a choice of either backing out of Manchuria and giving up on their ambitions to south Asian dominance (the choice they should have taken) or going to war with the world's largest economy , they chose the latter. Desperate choice, and not a good one... don't see how that makes them cowards, though. 

The Americans who fought against the Japanese didn't consider them cowards.

I think the jury is still out on what actually happened on that terrible day, so I'll hold my flag waving till all the results are in.As far as the people killed.......My prayers will be and have been for the families of those who lost their lives, and the survivors who's lives were forever changed on that horrible day.

I'm sure most on this forum are convinced the investigation is complete and that a handful of stone age Arabs, flying those complicated airplanes acted alone, but I don't believe it!

Sept 11 has been pork day for 10 years for my family. Great excuse for brats on the grill, which we did. We had some called smoked cheddarwurst, and smoky bacon cheddar for dinner. A place down the road makes the best I've ever had. Marty makes several different kinds of them as well as hot dogs and many other items. It'll be a tossup between left over brats or ham for supper, but I think the ham will win out. POWDERMAN.

Don't let your bitterness consume you!If those terrorists that flew the planes acted alone on that day, without help from someone inside our own government, then they are dead, and cannot be tried by man.
