Hornady Amax 155 gr.30 cal for Deer?

Has anyone tried this bullet in a .308 Win. for deer?How did it perform?
I love the smell of coyote gland lure early in the morning.It smells like victory!!

Bad idea. This bullet is NOT designed for controlled expansion. It might blow thru without expanding or blow apart like a varmint bullet. Stick with hunting bullets for hunting big game.

Graybeard they list them in there latest manual as O.K. on medium game.Just was wondering how they performed.I've been looking for a bullet to replace the Nosler Solid Base since my supply ran out.
