Browning Abolt resale value?

Ive always loved the browning abolts. But times got hard and i sold my beloved 30-06abolt hunter:( so when i gota chance to trade for another Abolt i jumbed like a a** shot cat. Anyways to the point i have a browning Abolt staneless/synthetic in 300 mag.im gonna sell it and buy a abolt in a lighter recoiling calibor(is it just me or do the abolts kick more) but im not sure what itd bring. Im in it cheap so i know ill make money buy whats fair?the guns in great condition. Thanks

they aint worth much. I'll give you 100 $ for it cash on the barrel head. Seriously tho,have you tried a Sims pad for it? It sure tamed down my 280 that kicked like a mule.

 That would be a little more than I'd need too. You can check gunbroker & see listed & selling prices. I'd think you'd be in the $500-550 or so ballpark anyway. You can tame it with more modest reloads, but then why not just carry a 308 or 243? I hardly ever shoot my A-Bolt 300WSM, though I don't plan to sell it either.

REALLY! 100 dollars will u payy the shipping too lol iwas thinking about the same i figure ask 550 take 500 also. Gunbroker people ask an arm and a leg and i dont see many bids. Ive been wanting a 25-06 to try out and i dont think grizzly bear are gonna invade tennessee anytime soon so its prolly gonna find a new home.

you can buy them abolts new for $550 everywhere on gun broker. bass pro shops has them on sale often for $479 and the staneless ones go for around $100/$150 more alot of value depends on location around middle tn they sale for $350/$500 used depending on if they have scopes mounted and wood /plastic stocks look around your area and price according

I traded a Abolt 325 WSM for a Marlin 1894 .357.  The dealer had to call a buddy to verify the dealer but he did make the deal.  The .325 was more gun than I need and the .357 was one I wanted.  Didn't care if he was into me for $100 or so, I was happy.  I'd say that a used one would be worth about $425-$500 just depending on the deal and the person.

wellllllllllll,,,,,,,you drive a hard bargain. But I'll pony up the shipping too if thats what it takes for you to part with it. LOL! Bud I'd throttle that 300 back a touch say down to 06 velocity and keep on hunting. Then when that once in a life time Elk hunt that you win from whichever one of them big buck buster clubs  takes your money and gives you a 10 $ knife giveaways comes along you can just step on the gas a little more and have at it.
