Sarah Palin trash book

Just got thru reading about a new book out about Sarah Palin. The clown next door to them, that has rented for the past summer, finished his book. Seems he got some of the material from the National Enquirer. Now, that right there tells ya he's got a good source. I know I sure will not be one to buy it. Todd Palin came out and actually said in a nice way, that the book was full of lies. Truth be known, I'll bet Todd would love to have Mr. Joe McGinniss, the author of the book, step around the fence and have a real man to man talk about the book. Probably have a copy of that book inserted into a very dark place. It's sad that some people have to stoop to such a low level to make a living. gypsyman

I smell law suit.

With the media going after her as much as they've been doing since she announced she was in the race for President over 4 years ago, we had to expect some fool would finally "cross-the-line" and start really trying to "trash" Sarah. 

They just can't stand having a strong female figure without trying to turn her into a whore... which is what they're attempting to do to Sarah Palin with this new book that is just coming out.

Unfortunately, she kinda "screwed" herself when she quit as Governor of Alaska in the middle of her term and didn't finish out her term in office.  Regardless of her reasons... good or bad... I believe that mistake will end up costing her by keeping her from becoming a serious candidate for President because the American People don't like a "quitter".

Of course, with all the lousy media attention these folks get bombarded with and all the confusing mis-representations that are offered about them by the media, it's a wonder anyone with a brain is willing to even attempt to run for President!!!

I wonder "if & when" the media will stop "designing" the news and go back to just REPORTING it instead?!?  Sadly, probably never!!!   :(

gypsyman:  pretty timely comment.  The news today carried a article about the NY Times calling the book written by mcguinnes as trash and basically said it was fulla 'stuff' (my interpretation), but it's pretty interesting that they give her credit for having good ideas and go to her defense against that book.  Imgaine, the mainstream media coming to her defense, especially after she referred to the media that lambasted her as the 'lamestream media'.  Interesting, isn't it.....

I firmly believe that absolutely nothing can be said or done to change anyones mind about Sarah Palin.


Relax, this will not change anyones mind one way or another. She represents a phylosophy, either you subscribe to that phylosophy or you don't. Very few of us will ever have the chance to sit personally and judge for ourselves what we think of the lady. We are compelled to listen to her via a media that is suspect as to its agenda, or listen to the opinion of someone we trust, again the agenda can be viewed as suspect.


She has zero chance of achieving elected office again, she knows this. No other explaination for the reality TV series or the FOX affiliation. A legitimate political figure would not let that stench get on them, if they were running for an elected position.


She is an evangelist not a missionary.

i think sarah has no intention of running for office of any kind.her family has seen enuf of that life. she is having fun and enjoying getting the word out of what she believes in.she makes mega buks and her family is comfortable. would yu screw that up?some people have the lust for power and sum dont.i dont and i dont thin k she does either.

When you enter politics you become a target. The founding fathers were beat up by the press. Thomas Jefferson was put on the cross by the press way back then. However if you can handle the heat you can get Damn rich without working real hard.

McGinniss moved in next door, did his "research", wrote his book, and got it published and released in record time.  Makes me wonder who is the driving force behind the whole venture.

The book is gossip and trash.  The author said Sarah's friends would not talk to him.  Therefore he had to take the word of the few people that would.  Those were the Sarah haters.  So that is what he wrote. 

I have not talked to Sarah or Todd since her run with McCain.  I did talk to Track (her son) about two years ago.  Track did not want her to resign as Governor, he knew she would be viewed as a quitter by a lot of people.  Even tho she had no choice, she had to resign due to financial ruin if she had stayed.  The media only tells part of that story to keep her in a bad light.  She is very effective where she is now.  I think a political appointment to head up some agency, where she can show her abilities and serve a full term without having multiple ethics charges made against her every week will help her get over this stigma is in order.

Who listens to Bill or Kieth?  Oberman has fallen so far he is on the Gore Net work. Maher is only on left wing pay TV.  ::)

Thats whats odd about them siding, (to some extent), with Palin over this sorry book. I have to wonder what their crazy audience thought about them for doing that? Olbermann still called her an idiot but basically said the book is a rag. Maybe that will help that guy to sell less books.
