Easy To Use Climber
« on: August 17, 2011, 12:29:03 PM »
I have a game leg with only twenty five percent of the original strength in it. My question is I discovered an area that I could not drag a ladder stand in to. Are there any climbers that are somewhat less difficult to use, I only need to go about twenty five feet high. I'm 6'2 and weigh 235 lbs, I have not used a climber stand since I was injured in 2004. Thanks Hawkenman

Summit brand climbers are awesome.  I would suggest the Goliath (21 pounds) or Titan for the extra 2" of width.  $299 and worth it.
I have the OpenShot from Summit (14 pounds!), but its a "hand climber" and has a small platform, so I wouldn't recommend that one for you.
