Those are looking good! Sorry to hear about the back I have a friend in a simular situation, it slowed him down some but he is recovering, hope your recovery is going well.
Did you build the Gatling?
Mr president I do not cling to either my gun or my Bible.... my gun is holstered on my side so I may carry my Bible and quote from it!

i just saw your glass plates VERY NICE!!!!!
Did you identify the gat. ??? ?
I though I had ALL the patents for gats. At least I think I have all the US pat. and I only can find a drawing of that hand crank on a pat. for a 1883  J. G. Accles cartridge feeder So because the brits. used the gat. more than the US maybe its British?
Any way Nice Pics.

I see there is a question or two so I'll back up the truck
This is a 1862 type 1 Gatling's Battery Gun, Gatling gun for short.
The type 2 used the same cylinders chambered for 58 cal.copper cartridge.
The metal finish is not done. the frame is to be blued, barrels plum brown, and breech, front and rear barrels plates and front sight bridge bronzed.

SORRY Zulu Old AGE is my plea .
I was asked in a p. message if I would be turning out kits..........Well if I turn out all the parts then I might as well put the gun together and I  have to do that anyway to check for fit. Haveing the only set of prints I know of and needing to keep on working even thouth I'm 65 I cann't splash them around .
