How 'bout this?
« on: September 25, 2011, 05:05:15 PM »
I noticed when my wife was cutting out a pattern to sew...the paper!  Yep, mic's out at .002.  I can just see it now. "yeah, man, I'm shootin' a little black A-Line dress pattern that really stacks 'em on top of each other"  ;)
But seriously, might have some merit, for those of us whose wives still sew.  For others, they're cheap enough at yard sales etc.  Have the wife pick 'em up....

I have never tried it, but I have heard of other folks getting good results from it. And like you say, it is available cheap sometimes. Have to try some and see what happens to it when it's wet. If it holds together it'll probably work well when you need really thin patching paper.
