No, it says 11 Chinooks were shot down and at least 5 were hit by RPG's.
 
It has happened before, and will happen again.

Did a recount and came up with only 10 shot down, not 11; 5 by RPG's. My mistake.

Yes,  Chinook heliocopters rarely go down....if ever....especially from milllion to one shots...

I have never even been in a chopper. Don;t think I want to either. When they name a chopper after fish (salmon) you have to wonder.....
