Hey Foxx1

the USSG MP94 is the same as the Baikail IZH-94 or the Spartan.  EAA in FL has been the importer for Baikal, Spartan and now the USSG

I had the Baikal IZH-94 in 12/30-06 which was regulated at the factory for slugs at 50 yards and 160 gr bullets at 100 yards.  I did not have to do a thing except put the scope on the 11 mm dovetail mount.  The MP94 has a Picatinny rail.

The Spartan in 12/223 shot the rifle 6 inches to the right and 4 inches high.  EAA could not or would not adjust the point of impact of the rifle relative to the shotgun.  So we worked out a financial arrangement where they kindly kept the gun.

After that I went with a Valmet combo gun in 12/.222 which has barrel adjustments for windage and elevation.

I sold the Baikal shortly there after to purchase a Valmet.

If I were to look at purchasing the Baikal/Spartan/USSG I would use a laser in the shotgun and rifle barrel to determine the point of impact prior to purchasing the gun.  If they don't align it is nearly impossible to regulate these guns.

Hey Foxx1,

If the barrels are regulated correctly from the factory it is a very good gun.  I liked the screw in chokes which allowed for a rifled slug choke and turkey choke.  If your looking for a $500 combo gun (and the barrels are regulated correctly) it is a very good deal.

The Valmet's are going in the $1100-$1400 ranges, they have an adjustable rifle barrel and the option for a removable scope mount.

Let us know what you end up doing.

AND the scope stays sighted in when you remove/reinstall that scope mount.  AND there are many "other" bbls. that can be bought for the Valmet action.
