I have a henri pump action .22LR.I bought in 2003. Immedialtely apon firing the action opens, also I have to hold forward pressure on the forearm to get it to fire. I`ve tore it down and given it a good cleaning but no help. Anyone have this problem ??

Sounds like the lock isn't engaging properly.  Call Henry.  I hear their customer service is excellent.  They should fix it free of charge. Will probably even pay shipping.

Pump rifles unlock after firring so that sounds good.  Of course to chamber a round you have to push the forearm towards the muzzle but it should be locked until you fire or press the release.
