Very interesting video. Not the first time I have seen it. I did some checking with my local utility and it is pretty darn scary the amount of info that they can obtain about your habits from an electrical meter. Not sure how it works with other areas but I was able to go on my utilities webbsite and get a telephone # for a rep to speak to and he confirmed that they are comming but as of now not in my area yet. I asked if this was a voluntary thing and he said no that once they decided to change to that monitoring system it would be system wide. I expressed my dislike of that and he responded "you and everybody else that has heard of it". One of my bigger worries is who they might sell that info to.
