Hello fellow wildcatters! Today i've tried some 44 grs bullets over 8 grs of winchester 296 and here are the results!
At 50 meters

At 100 meters

there are 2 bullet holes together!! :D needless to say that i HATE that flyer!
I'm so happy with the accuracy results that i can't wait until next weekend to try some more bullets!

Great thread and a really cool little wildcat.  Can't complain about the cost of components, that's for sure.  It looks like you are getting some respectable performance out of this little bugger.

How are you reaming your chamber?  Did you make the reamer?  I'd be interested to hear more about your dies that you made.

jlwilliams: i've made the reamer and dies (out of some 4140 stock i've had laying around). They form the case in 3 steps with zero case loss, i don't even need to anneal the mouth between steps (luckly because heating only the mouth in such a short case is kinda tricky) ;)

The expander plug in my RCBS and Lee dies for this size bullet are .223" or 5.67MM...
