HELP>>>>>> firing pin problem
« on: October 07, 2011, 10:31:00 AM »
TC pistol suddenly started "not firing" 22 LR yesterday at the range.  Checked the firing pin for rimfire and found that in the action it is just sitting there wobbling around anywhere, not rigid or fixed.

Anyone know of a good TC gunsmith here in central Tx that might be able to fix this little problem?

Thanks in advance

I am assuming it is a Contender. It is probably a broken pin or spring. Call TC and they will ship you new parts. Any competent gunsmith should be able to install. I recommend you install both firing pins and a new hammer spring at same time depending on age of firearm. Be ready to provide serial number to TC if asked.
