I am considering the Lee REAL mold for my 50 cal Encore. Anybody tried one? Is the accuracy  any good?

They shoot good in my traditions, give acoupla fellers a batch apiece and got back good reports from them, though they said they had a different p.o.i. than their usual sabot's..I like 'em , economical and quick'n'easy to load.. :)

i recently bought the mold. they do great in the 1:48 and 1:32 twist bores. Im having trouble though with the 1:28 twist. I still have a lost of testing to do and see what the deal is but im happy with the slower twist results.

bigblock, with the faster twist dont be affraid to drop the charge.  i once decided i wanted to shoot a roundball for kicks out of a 1-28 twist and it was a pretty low charge before it'd shoot "ok"

Recently got another r.e.a.l mould  , this one in .45. Very well pleased with my preliminary test in in a  1n20 twist inline, probly gonna rest me sidehammers and hunt with this one this year. ;)

I have been using a 50 cal REAL molded bullet lubed with SPG in an old lyman lub sizer and for the money because I have a large quanity of lead have been real happy punching holes in paper with it. (I use 40 gr. tripple 7 and it is shot in a knight) I figure with more powder they would do a good job on deer.  I wont give up shooting with my omega and barns tez and black horn for deer.
