Last year my 14 old son took my 535 turkey shotgun out. When he returned the front red fiber sight was missing, I told him no big deal and I'll get a new one. Last week I went to Gander Mountain and asked the gun clerk could I see a 535 or 835 turkey shotgun that was on display. He handed me a 835 and the front sight was missing, he went down the line of about five of them and two of them were missing their front sight also. I inspected one of the guns that had a sight and it looked like they were just clipped on the vent rib. I ordered another sight but this time I will put a little JB Weld or red Locktight on it.
