Missing Weaver 4X scope's elevation adjustment cover
« on: May 15, 2011, 01:48:35 AM »
I stupidly brushed aside or misplaced the 4X scope's elevation adjustment cover while at the range.  All attempts to relocate it have failed.  It is hopelessly lost.

Does anyone have a Weaver scope cover, possibly from a broken scope, with which they could part?  PM me if you do.  Or, know where I can get a replacement?

Is it a steel tube, El Paso weaver scope? If so there was repair service still available in El Pase for the. Do a search. Perhaphs service is still available.

Do not know if AL or Steel.  Will check and report.  Steel I think, but will not be disappointed if it is AL.  It rides on a super accurate Ruger 77K/22RP bolt action with practically no recoil.

Land_Owner,

Do you still need the scope cap?

If so is it a Weaver K4 or a Weaver Marksman 4x?

I have a set of caps that fit a Marksman 4x and will likely fit the K4 also but I do not have a k4 in my shop to try them on.

I'll sell the pair for $15 if you are interested.  If they don't work I'll take them back.
