Darned lucky

The planets must have aligned just right!
We were drawn for bull elk in Arizona game management unit 7West. We then put in for 7w as our first choice for deer so that we could scout/deer hunt before the elk hunt. Darn if we didn't get that too. Some years we dont even get drawn for deer yet alone elk. We have a epic Autumn ahead.

I took my pronghorn in 7W, near Red Mountain. Got him in the timber above one of the parks,. You sir,are indeed a lucky man Enjoy.

My freezer is full and still have the potential for two bull elk!

Looks great I just got back from a succesful hunt myself in unit 3b. Those deer lok great. Congrats.

We are going back up tomorrow. 300 miles and through Phoenix (yuk). It is beautifull when we get there. I'm from Washington so Flagstaff feels like home to me. My 19 year old son, my brother and I will be hunting elk on friday. I have been waiting for this for soooo long. We have a bunch of family coming up even my nephew from Washington. We are going to have a great time no matter what. THIS is what makes Arizona livable. I'll guarantee you it isnt the summers.
