Winchester 94AE 44 mag. Value?

Got my eye on a Winchester 94AE in 44 magnum (16" barrel). Overall good clean condition with nice wood - think it was made around 1985 with cross bolt safety (I think). Guy wants $465.
 
Do this sound like a good value?

yes. I think that is a good price for the 44mag version. If it was a 30-30 I may think a bit less is on order.

did they have the crossbolt safety that early?i sold one 5 yrs ago for 350$ and made 50$ on it. shud of kept it i guess.44 mag jus never tripped my trigger.
