Auto Shotgun issue.

I have a Revelation automatic 12ga. It is basically a Franchi AL-48. I brought it out the other day for a Dove hunt and it shot fine for a while until I noticed that when I would shoot it would leave the chamber open as though I have fired my last round. I started haveing to press the button to release the chamber before I could continue shooting. Well, it went like that for a few more rounds and then all of a sudden I just stopped loading my next round from the tube. Even if I close the chamber and manually pull it back the shell in the mag stays put. My dad was able to reach in from the bottom and somehow manually make the shell pop out of the mag. I'm not sure what he did because I tood disgusted with the thing that I just put it asside. I know that there isnt a whole lot info out there on the Revelations, but I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the Franchi AL-48s?

One of the first things I do would be to tear it completely apart and give it a good cleaning. If you can, clean out the mag tube also. Lightly lube it and try again.

I had a Win auto that would start doing this same thing after 2 rounds of skeet. That gun DID NOT like to get messy.
