Question on the 38-55

Is the 38-55 on the shotgun or rifle frame ? I am asking because it really is a low pressure round. I know Tim will know. Thanks everybody.

SB2 rifle frame, the only modern factory rifle barrels that come on SB1 shotgun frames are the 357mag and 44mag.

Keep within saami specs and it'd be fine on a shotgun frame.
