30-30 brass

which company makes the thinest walled 30-30 brass,would take to long to explain why i need it.   thanks

that will be a hard question to answer fer sure. if yur like me yu will have several headstamps available. trim them all the same and then weigh them.

Those headstamped as WW Super are the lightest I've weighed with my RP headstamped being a close second. The Federal and Winchester headstamps were the heaviest by weight. As far as wall thickness the weight may or may not have anything to do with that.

I think a better method to determing wall thickness would be to get several cases of different brands...
 
Weigh the case and then fill it with water--weigh again...
 
Subtract empty case weight from case + water weight and that will tell you the internal volume of water--more water, thiner case wall...
 
All cases will need to be trimmed to the exact same length...
 
But, I am a bit uncertain as to what the entire purpose of this process might be?...
