Virginian Dragoon..357..shoot it or save it ??

My nephew just gave me a boxed , unfired, 357mag , 7 1/2" barreled Interarms Virginian Dragoon..back strap has "Don't tread on me" on bottom.  Now , do I shoot it or save it ?

Another vote to shoot it. There great guns but even a new in the box gun isnt worth anymore then a new blackhawk.
