.445 Supermag Loads

Well Indiana deer season is about 3 weeks away and I have been working on my deer load. I have some 240 xtp's over 23.5 gr of h110 and also had some 240 keith style lead over 23.5 gr of h110 for the 44 side. For the .445 I have the same bullets over 32 gr of h110.
 
I just bought some 265 grain hornandy flat point and want to try them also. Just trying to tweek the loads available in the arsenal for deer opening. Not overly large deer and ranges normally under 100 yards.
 
Opinions please.
 
Second question is trying to figure home much brass to accumulate for the .445. I have 150 pieces of brand new brass and another 100 use. Thinking I might get another hundred for the locker. Just use for hunting with most shooting done with .44 loads.

I haven't tried other powders. Using H110 for two reasons: 1) I have quite a bit of it and 2) it works as well for 44 mag loads so it was just simpler to stick with. Would their be a deteriment to using 110???

I've ran the 265gr bullets thru QuickLoad software, AA1680 or H110/W296 are about as good as it gets.

I have a batch loaded the same way, 240 gr XTP over 32 gr. H110 for 1548 fps.  They're accurate, but I want to try a heavier bullet and perhaps another powder.

I would say that the 150 cases are enough. I sometimes shoot pretty often and I am satisfied with the 100 pieces of .308 brass I have (+ another 20 factory loads I'll be keeping around for any serious use).
However! Given the rarity of .445 brass, I probably would recommend getting that extra hundred.
For 9mm I have about 600 or so pieces (though I still collect whenever I can) and for .44mag I only maintained and reloaded 300, though I was shooting .44 out of a revolver and putting about 150 rounds a week downrange, so for a Handi I'd have probably been fine with maybe 100.

the 240 XTP's may be a bit explosive.  THat's the exact load I was using that started fragmenting in the 250gr. from my Blackhawk.  The Flat points may fare better at the velocities you will be getting.  ;)
