A bead has an indefinate aiming point, I have missed several critters before I wised up. Also the sun can really throw a wrench in the works when it hits a bead.
I went to the skinner site, and I think they are a good way to go too. Nice thing about buying from them is they give you some help selecting a front sight, with Williams you are pretty much on your own. If you look at the front sight section of their site, you will see that they recommend a blade too.
