DW 741 8" bbl
« on: November 15, 2011, 08:24:59 AM »
I'm looking at a Dan Wesson 8" stainless in 41 mag with pachmeyer grips. It comes with original carton, bbl wrench and original wooden grips. The original bill of sale is dated 1991. It has supposedly been packed away for 15 years. The physical condition looks great. Is this a high price or in the ball park? I can't find much on line to compare it to. Asking price is $650.

I think thats a pretty good price and I would grab it,  was watching a blued 6" 41 on Gunbroker supposedly unfired without factory grips and it went for $905 + shipping.

Greetings
Sounds good to me.  If for any reason you do not like it let me know & I will buy it today.
DW´s are the best you can get for the price.  I got my first caliber .41 mag in 1982 8" and still have it.  Most accurate revolver to date I have ever owned.  Will shoot like a rifle to 200 meters with me in the revolver creedmore back rest. Won the Illinois AAA "Silly wet" revolver class in 1983 with a 79/80. Forgot to de-oil the barrel & missed the first chicken at 50 meters !
