I guess it's not so much a corrosion issue (as said already, there isn't one) as much as a question of how high is you're tolerance level for the possibility of a misfire.
BH 209 is a lot less susceptible to absorbing moisture than black powder, Pyrodex or Triple 7 but it will eventually get damp. How long I ever let it sit in the barrel was driven by how wet it had been outside and whether it was taken out on a cold enough day that the rifle sweat condensation when I came back inside.
