A Few Pics

18lbs, 9 1/2" beard, 1 1/4" spurs
 

22 1/2 lbs, 12" beard, 1 3/4" spurs
 

My first and only Speed Goat
 

20 lb, 10" beard, 1" spurs - 23Lb, 10 3/5" beard, 1 1/2" spurs
 

 30 lb, double beards 10 1/2" & 11", 1 1/2" spurs

Man, 'em's some fine birds.  I've seen a few like that running across the pasture at about 300 yards :(
 
I've never seen a double beard before, but I've just kinda' started this turkey hunting business and have a lot to learn.

Mechanic, turkey hunting is aditive. My son and I love deer hunting but if we could only choose one it would be turkey. We've killed a few with double beards but usualy one will be very thin and short. This bird was the first we have ever seen with two long full beards. We even see bearded hens now and then.
